Im so sick of the police in this country. They never get in any shit

"It's our understanding of this incident that no Halifax regional police member acted in an inappropriate manner."

Ha of course it is. I call for there badges lol

I wonder IF the police every walked off their jobs in your town IF you would applaud their actions or plea for their return...

I would not plea for there return but i would pay for there bus ticket to leave., in my town the only time shit starts to go wrong is WHEN the cops show up, say outside a bar after closing when people are finding rides home and talking, not fighting, cops show up start throwing people in cars instead of helping with rides home. Then people start getting pissed and angry

If the 2 dudes had common sense they would've laughed at his face when he called them a derogatory term. That's what I do and its results are wonderful.

The 4 or 5 supposed cases others have brought up make an extremely small percentage of the Canadian police population. To tar all of them with the same brush because of a few idiots is blatently unfair. Your opinion is not supported by facts, which makes it a bias.

As some else once said, its easy to dismiss sources you dont like. The fact is simple. It happenes way more often then it should. and while I agree that 75 percent of police are great and are there for the right reasons, the other 25 are not.

The main point of disccusion is that the ones who do get caught and are bad and are let off 99.9 perecent of the time. When In the very same instance had the cop not been a cop he would be sitting in jail with a stretched asshole.

Again, urban legends spread by the un-educated and unknowing without foundation or specifics.

Or the usual load of bollocks from cop-haters.

The constable Ferguson case isnt an urban legend, google it if you dare and tell me there isnt a different set of laws for cops and friends then the local joe.
I dont hate cops, just corrupt crooked people that think their job gives them the right to be above others,my uncle and cousin are both rcmp.
Plus we have a couple other unsolved cases here involving a murdered school teacher,a jelous husband who got murdered and an rcmp officer who will remain nameless.
Max Haines will someday print a story if any of the 3 murders here other then the Varley murder become solved.
It will be the crime of the century in Canada if ever solved, and I forgot to mention the gal that worked at Leo's pub in pincher the time this was all happening who walked home after her shift in the am and was found dead months later in the castle river on a road leading out of pincher creek.
We have 3 out of four murder cases unsolved here and they all involve a cop.

you've been given multiple links and cases of documented instances and still accuse everyone who doesn't agree with you of being uneducated Cop-haters, when we have each and every one of us stated we do not hate law abiding , hard working good police officers, just the crooked ones who aren't punished to the full extent of the law.

Why is it OK for blacks to call other blacks the N word but IF a white person calls a black person it all hell breaks loose...

I think this is a double standard....

IMHO the word is very dirty and obscene and should not be directed towards anyone by anyone...

One literal meaning of the word is Ignorant, it came into use to describe blacks due to the term Negro (Spanish/Latin). White slave owners used it to denote their superiority over Blacks. I cannot understand at all why Blacks now would use it in conversation with each other, I believe it started as a way for them to reduce the effect and maening it originally had over them. I may be wrong though

Multiple? Four or five cases over 3 years is hardly a valid indictment of the 60,000 men and women who serve Canada as police officers.
My point is people of your ilk leap on this very isolated cases and try to tar all cops with the same brush.

Where did Choban try to "tar all cops with the same brush"? He didn't, and it's disingenuous of you to suggest he did. It seems to me that you are the one doing the reflex response to protect any criticism whatsoever as police officers, and you who are tarring all criticizers as "cop-haters."
