PublicAnimalNo9 PublicAnimalNo9:
*sigh* Try reading my post again and this time, think about it in the context of this thread title AND what one of the train passengers was quoted as saying on Twitter, that I also quoted.
Think of it this way. You're stuck on a train for 5 hours with no environmental controls. You can't even open a door or window. You need to be somewhere and you're stuck sitting there for hours because some worthless shits who are now safe in Europe, have decided that being safe just isn't good enough, they want a free ride to boot. And if they have to disrupt the lives of hundreds, if not thousands of people as well as a major commerce route, well then that's just too bad for you and everyone else on the train.
Sorry man, their "desperate plight" ended the moment they set foot in Europe and were permitted to remain. I would think the legitimate refugees would be at least a little grateful to be in a safe country and not act like entitled douche nozzles, which leads me to believe that the vast bulk of the attempts to surreptitiously cross the channel are NOT being made by legit refugees.
Point taken. Sorry I misconstrued what you were saying.
