Some of them I would consider beautiful if it wasn't for the huge ecological disaster that it is.

What will we replace our Earth with?
I realize at the time that it's impossible to go to an oil free world but we sure can reduce our dependency on it. Unless we just wanna keep blowing money on going to war in oil rich countries and cleaning up disasters like this one.
Seems that money would be put to better use for R&D away from oil.

What if somebody were to invent an easy way to clean the oil. I suspect Greenies would be pissed. I suspect if something like the below actually works they will try to stop it.
