Visited a friend in Winterpeg back in the 70s and saw a battery warmer for the first time. Swore I'd never live anywhere that needed one.

My old pals in Vancouver thought I was lying when I told them i'ts not really cold until your first breath outside makes your nostrils freeze closed until you exhale! And that you keep your brew inside the engine cowling of your sled!

Here is a good sport for you B.C.er's to try when on the prairies in the winter!

Pshaw....bait fisherman....try a real sport....

I've participated in that "real" sport for over 30 years H.....Me in my yellow pontoon boat...

Not so sure fly fishing is especially good in this cold weather.

Perhaps ''Ice Fishing'' would be a bit more appropriate.
