Lemmy, why is this so wide spread? My local rag had it in two articles today.

Because we're becoming a society of morons. I was playing on-line poker the other day and some punk said typed "Im gonna tak all ur chips" in the chat window. I tried to explain that "ur" is short for "you are" and that he meant "your", a different word altogether, for which there is no phonetical short-form, except among troglodytes. I tried to explain to him that when he types "ur chips", he's calling me 'chips'. I didn't get far enough with that lesson to bother moving on to the reason for the apostrophe in "I'm" or the correct spellings of "take" and "going to". He was right though, he sucked out a monster and did, as he predicted, take my chips.

Mmmm, I did the 'big-lass' thing when I was at boot-camp. Maybe not mate!
