How can we, foreigners, ever understand what you mean when you say you'll get a "massage", or go to the "sauna"? I would think you'd really get a massage, and go to the sauna, but in reality, you get laid! Just say you're getting laid! Geesh!

I agree with you there as I'm very liberal in my views about sexuality.
What consenting want to do behind closed doors is their affair.
I'm going to guess though that Montreal is one of the more sexually liberated cities in Canada (if anyone wants to challenge this, maybe we can start a new thread on the subject).
This one poses as a sauna but we have a few swinger's clubs that are advertised as such and some nudist camps for swingers near the city.

But prostitution is NOT illegal in Canada, Brenda. Solicitation is illegal and pimping is illegal, but prostitution is perfectly legal in Canada. Swingers clubs were ruled legal by the Supreme Court a couple of years ago (R. v. Labaye).
