I couldn't live without mine. I'm the opposite. I find them warm enough in the winter and only in the hottest days do I find them too hot.
Boots you seem old enough to remember a time when your mother dressed you up in corduroy and sent you off to school. If ever a fabric deserved to die it was that.

Oh no, I remember corduroy. I had a pair of them in elementary that was great for building up static charges...ZAP! However, I'm glad it's gone. Mostly, I wear khakis and cargos, as my office is pretty informal. In the summer, I'm even allowed to wear shorts!

Something like "I was in labour for 36 straight hours so I intend to make my kid suffer in the most humiliating way possible".

bootlegga bootlegga: Oh no, I remember corduroy. I had a pair of them in elementary that was great for building up static charges...ZAP! However, I'm glad it's gone. Mostly, I wear khakis and cargos, as my office is pretty informal. In the summer, I'm even allowed to wear shorts! I'm lucky. We all get nondescript white lab coats to wear. No need to colour coordinate outfits. I do however get to wear shorts underneath.

Brenda Brenda: At least birth!  (I never dared to ask about conception  ) I ran screaming from the room the first time my parents started "now the night you were conceived ........" Been in therapy ever since!

23 years in suits. Always 6 of them in my closet along with about 15 dress shirts, as many ties, 3 belts and 3 pairs of dress shoes.
I'm SO glad I changed jobs. I'm wearing jeans and sneakers today.
