Actually he did. If you knew anything about youth you would know he did, instead of dismissing new mannerisms as disrespect. What's up is probably one of the most common greetings amongst youth. I greet people like that all the time.

No, the reason customer service is lacking is because no one has it, so there is no where else to go. If everyone lowers their customer service, then it will be the new norm.

Probably, but you're also talking on a phone. It's different. Face to face communication is far different than on the phone.
