Tricks Tricks: What's wrong with the slogan my body my choice? What a strange thing to be upset over. In regards to that slogan it deals with abortion. My simple and smart assed answer is you made the choice to have sex, right? Well that's the choice you made. Secondly it's not only her (the woman's), life/body, but the babies also. I am not 100% against abortion but want a lot more limits on it. A couple of years ago I looked up information on rape's (% that became pregnant) and danger to mothers life, and a couple of other factors. I was generous with the numbers also. 50% of rapes reported so I doubled the % number for those that got pregnant. 3.5% of rape victims become pregnant (I think) so I did 5% as a total. What this came to be is less than 10% of all abortions were do to rape and or health risk to the mother. That's a lot of abortions that seem to me to be just a form of birth control.

Tricks Tricks: What's wrong with the slogan my body my choice? What a strange thing to be upset over. I knew you would say this....and now comes the difference of language and its implied meaning For english speakers, this is simple sentence from which no one can be offended.. However in Urdu language if we translate it. Mera jism, meri marzi....... Implied meaning: I will use my body in whatever way possible, no marriage and will go for open sex, along with vulgar clothing.... Counter argument is , you could have said; my life, my choice or my life, my right. This "my body my choice" directly leads the brain to prostitution kinda thing and hence my nation's men and WOMEN got offended. Women organized anti aurat march where they condemned these slogans, saying we'll stand with our fathers, brothers and husbands...Our family system will remain intact.

Secondly it's not only her (the woman's), life/body, but the babies also. Unless it's rape. Also a fetus/embryo is not a baby. It's a fetus/embryo. There are two different words for a reason. Also, my body my choice means more than just abortion. In Islamic nations it can mean I can dress how I want, I can move where I want, I can do what I want with my own body.

The newspaper Dawn, staffed by crazy brave people, has championed secular values in Pakistan. Here’s one writer’s take on the Aurat March: $1: One placard said, “Mujhe kya maaloom tumhara mozaa kahan hai?” (How should I know where your sock is?). It was born of the expectation of women, that men take for granted, about keeping abreast of all domestic matters, down to the location of an errant sock... ...Another dared to declare “Divorced and happy!” A photo of three extraordinary women was posted online and was immediately made the symbol of a new-found social crisis of 'glamourising divorce'... ...Men have a lot of opinions about how the Aurat March should have run. Their advice has been patronising, unhelpful and mostly just rude The placards were a mirror and instead of taking this moment as an opportunity to reflect, they have decided to beat their chest instead. It seems to me that for them, the problem is women themselves.
Not their butchered bodies, not their acid-burnt faces, not their immobility, not their lack of representation, not the dearth of affordable housing, not the moral policing their choices and bodies are subjected to, not the denial of female education, not the constant threat of sexual harassment and assault, not the social structures that cut women’s potential in half, not the exploitation, not the objectification, not the fact that for many, women are still not human.
So, allow me to give men some unsolicited advice: smile, you’ll look prettier that way. https://www.dawn.com/news/1469183/let-m ... rch-to-you

That's exactly why the west needs to keep your ilk out. Only muslims would think this means prostitution. Not a surprise coming from those who think robbing merchant caravans is the perfect example of a man.

Some of my Indian and Pakistani friends are from the lower orders, caste-wise that is. They’re also among the best people I have ever met, who made their way in life purely on merit and can laugh today about the humiliations that came their way over the years. I suspect it’s a lot easier to reflect on such journeys after success in a great country like Canada.

Not a surprise coming from those who think robbing merchant caravans is the perfect example of a man. Many years ago, there was a piece on CBC radio about a gay Yemeni writer who moved to Toronto. He described how his extended family of devout Muslims wanted to join him and he expressed how worried he was. “For your family?”, asked the journalist. “No, for Canada”, he replied. “You don’t know what my family are like.”

Prostitution laws are moronic. we care for societal impact of these happenings...Obviously, one can't stop/monitor everyone but Pakistanis, in public, will not allow this ever. Instead of sweeping all men with same brush, these women should talk about how women folks are having hard time in some rural areas of Pakistan. This is fact that all men agree here and this needs to be addressed. Women deserve better. They make or break our society.

You mean you want to control what they can and can't do with their own body. $1: Instead of sweeping all men with same brush, these women should talk about how women folks are having hard time in some rural areas of Pakistan. No, I can't control them...I am just asking them to do it privately...Women have as much as right on their body as men have over theirs. Women are having hard time in some rural pockets of Pakistan due to illiteracy of men over there...It's a sad situation where we men feel guilty. Hoping for better penetration of civil society into those areas.

He said "penetration". On a serious note, I totally support these ladies. People should be able to live as they please, without fear from the lunatics who worship a vengeful imaginary sky god.

[quote="Fighter"] West will never be able to keep Muslims out. Period.
/quote] You underestimate the true men of the west. The liberal fools who kiss your asses are worthless as you well know. They are pawns that you use to bring your mosques within our borders. We've seen what happens in Europe when the gate is cracked open and it is ugly.
The same spirit of men who crossed the ocean and built the best society in the world are not going to give it away. The day it looks like the black flag of islam will fly is the day we will raze this planet to the ground. You can bank on it and your allah will be powerless to stop us.
