Okay my last post on this topic for a bit. I was at the poker table when we heard about this. Guy on the phone seen the news posting. We all were like WTF, Really, ah fuck here we go again type looks on our faces. Talked about it for about 3-4 hands. Then moved on. Not sure what that says about us at the table. We were all disgusted and felt sickened by the news. Politics at the poker table has become frowned upon by many players. We don't discuss political topics except in general coverage. Most of the people at my table were more into making fun of each other and ourselves.

DNC Fundraises Off Mass Shootings In El Paso And Dayton

The Democratic National Committee is fundraising off of the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, that together left at least 31 people dead.

The DNC sent out a pair of fundraising emails from former Rep. Gabby Giffords, who was wounded in a 2011 shooting. Giffords’ emails directly invoked last weekend’s mass murders in asking for donations.

“I am asking you to have the courage to act today. For every man, woman, and child whose life has been cut short by the epidemic of gun violence in our country,” Giffords wrote in an email sent out Monday afternoon
