McCabe did in fact testify under oath that there would not have been a FISA warrant if not for the dossier. It was recorded.

The FBI, and many Democrats, insisted vehemently that release of the Nunes Memo would endanger national security. Now that we've all read it, is there anyone who believes that this argument was even remotely true or honest?

CIA official warns that the permanent security state agencies in the US are more powerful than the elected president, and will easily win in a war with him. And he's probably right. Remember that @chuckschumer issued the same warning a year ago:

According to former CIA counterterrorism official Phil Mudd, the intelligence community "are ticked" about President Trump's decision to release the FISA abuse memo prepared by House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes. In an interview Friday on CNN, Mudd said to the president, "You’ve been around for 13 months. We've been around since 1908. I know how this game is going to be played. We're going to win."
Mudd explained: "The president is talking about basically corruption at the FBI today, but we oppose the leadership."
"The workforce is going to look at this and say, this is an attack on our ability to conduct an investigation with integrity. There are hundreds of agents and analysts working on this investigation. It’s not just Christopher Wray, the FBI Director," he also said.
"So, the FBI people -- I’m going to tell you -- are ticked, and they’re going to be saying, I guarantee it, you think you could push us off this because you can try to intimidate the director, you’d better think again, Mr. President," he continued. "You’ve been around for 13 months; we’ve been around since 1908. I know how this game is going to be played, and we’re going to win."
So, who is running the United States today ?
And how long has the "President should be afraid of the FBICIA" thing been going on ?
