It's not only Halloween costumes, this is only the tip of the silliness iceberg! This whole country is going ass over tea kettle trying to be politically correct no matter where you look. Women's rights, First nations/Indigenous rights, begging forgiveness for past wrongs to potential immigrants being denied entry - the Komagata Maru incident, the Chinese head taxes, WWII internment camps, indigenous schools, land treaties. Where will it all end, when we have given absolutely everything the country has to give?

It will end when everyone is equal, when everyone stops living in the past, and when we don't have to feel bad about things we didn't do and can't change.

Now that Saudi Arabia has given a robot citizenship robot costumes will be banned. Space aliens will be banned next cause we might meet some someday we won’t want to offend. Plants are alive they might have feelings ban those too. That leaves you with cartoon characters but only licensed store bought stuff wouldn’t want to upset the company that made it. Oh now you have to get rid of the anime conventions most of them make their own costume. Ok that one maybe over the top as the creators make money at the conventions.

I just put up a sign saying adults will not be given candy, it's for kids only. FFS raid your kids' candy bags like our parents did. Too many pricks walk around here with the little ones and shove a bag in your face expecting candy too.....no please or thank you.

If I were participating in Halloween I'd be giving candy to the kids and mini-bar bottles of vodka, Scotch, and tequila to the parents.
