It has very little to do with that specific incident, and much more to do with the political climate in Somalia that led to it happening, mixed with several countries dumping toxic waste on Somalia's shore.
These pirates used to be fishermen. With their industry poisoned, and with no one to help them do anything about their own livelihood, why is anyone surprised that they've taken matters into their own hands?
You know, as I went through it the only person actively supporting these mutts was romanP (aka IceOwl).
In his defense, I'm not so sure he actually sympathizes with them, it's probably more the effect of his general philosophy that
'any enemy of Western Civilization is a friend of mine!'
