In a normal world expecting to pay a fine or spending a month of so in a German jail shouldn't be too much of a burden for this moron to handle for pissing all over the local rules of a country that he was merely a guest in. I expect by sometime next week though that our wonderful Parliamentary Opposition will be shreiking at the top of their lungs about how this is the worst injustice an innocent Canadian overseas has every faced, and that it's all Stephen Harper's personal fault that the arrest even happened in the first place, and that a government-chartered 747 should immediately be flown to Berlin with the specific purpose of rescuing this poor man from the clutches of the authoritarian and free speech-hating Germans.
