$1:
Air Canada said that during the final hour of U.S.-bound flights, customers must remain seated.

Oh really, well then when we fly next month I suppose the flight crew can just tell my 3 year old to hold it for an hour until we land. Unless of course they are willing to take her to the bathroom. While they are at it they can change the 1 year old diaper or they could just let those around me suffer from the smell. Good times!

Gunnair Gunnair:
Yeah, I`m not sure how. It just said he went through security in Amsterdam. The fact that the liquids were stored in condems and non metal syringes means it`s irrelevent anyway. The metal detector wouldn`t have picked up anything.

Well, the news is flat out wrong.

In Schipol, when you arrive in the international area, there are no more
security checks.. I know because I have gone through that airport myself
several times.

Had always hoped it was only EU flights that worked this way,
but I guess not.

We all know what the real solution to airport security, it's a shame
that no one will have the balls to implement it.

Yeah well, I don't disagree. I don't know why he'd have to go through security again when he reached Amsterdam.

News was confusing.

Seen several armed security troops there, but other than long line-ups to get to our connecting flight, no further security checks.
