Hah! My little minitruck fired up but the battery on the Saturn's froze. Funny thing is the minitrucks have those little garden tractor batteries that sit outside totally exposed!
This is the first time the Saturn failed to start since I got it in 2005... -39s also the coldest it's been here since about 1995. It used to be the norm this time of year before that.

Visited a friend in Winterpeg back in the 70s and saw a battery warmer for the first time. Swore I'd never live anywhere that needed one.

My old pals in Vancouver thought I was lying when I told them i'ts not really cold until your first breath outside makes your nostrils freeze closed until you exhale! And that you keep your brew inside the engine cowling of your sled!
