Lemmy Lemmy:
Instead of joining the military, he/she should go to work for CSIS. This could be a totally new kind of double-agent.

It's a part of the medical, you legally must disclose everything else you will face the consequences of up to and including two years less a day in military prison AND a dishonorable discharge.

is a military medical not privy to patient/doctor confidentiallity? whenever, i have had a company medical, i have assume that a recommendation was made by the doctor but the details were kept private for the most part.

I could see a doctor wanting to cup someone's nuts and asking them to cough, but its none of anyone's business if i have 2 nuts, only 1 nut, or no nuts at all.

It is privy to doctor patient confidentiality. So in this case I would expect that it was his medical examiner that is recommending he is medically unfit to serve.

I think that the fact that privacy goes out the window in basic probably will have alot to do with it. Someone going through basic training who hasn't had the full surgery would create alot of issues. Do you put them with males or females? Like I said little privacy, especially when it comes to washing facilities etc. The CF could then be open to all sorts of legal action.
