I prefer the word liberal, with a small "l".


"Libertarian" isn't left/right. It's up/down. One can be both conservative, and libertarian.

No, there just seemed to be some confusion earlier how a party could be both for "Gay marriage and pro-choice" and still be considered 'conservative'. It's because they aren't mutually exclusive.

Throw in the difference between small-c and large-C conservatives and it further muddies the waters.

Even in Alberta you have to reach out for a centrist vote if you want to win an election.
