Thanos Thanos:
Much like Oka and Caledonia the Natives'll get a free pass to engage in public behaviour that would get any other Canadian a year in jail. That's merely par for the course in anything to do with the flip-for-flop reverse racism of the Canadian justice system.
I can't see this supposed legislation standing. I'd imagine that there isn;t a court out there that won't strike it down based on it's inherent flimsy pretext. Much like the Quebec crisis the government is assuming that any anti-Olympic protests are automatically an incitement to street violence, and I can't see anywhere that they have a basis for making that assumption. This thing'll be completely dead the minute it hits the desk of any judge out there.
The Natives will be bought off with some spots for dancing and some booths
to sell their carvings and stuff.. Others will be prevented from going anywhere
near Vancouver.
The CHRC will do nothing about this law, and other laws that will follow in the
next year. There is no discrimination.
No judge will ever see this dossier until after the Olympics, 6 months is
not a long time for the courts, and you can be sure everything will get lost
in the shuffle.
TG, I have had a look at PIVOT. Simply, a non-profit working for drug users
has neither the resources, time, money, legal expertise or public profile
to stop any of this legislation. Sorry to say it, just my opinion.
And, at the end of the day, 99.99% of the people will simply roll over and take it,
this and much worse, cause 10k a day and 6 months is too much penalty to bother
expressing an opinion. They will make an example of a couple of true hotheads,
and the rest of the sheeple will fall into line.
You can firmly believe this is not the last piece of completely unconstitutional
legislation all levels of government will pass in the run up to the Olympics.
Don't worry, it'll be ok.
The truly sad part is to watch the lefties on this forum laugh and make jokes
about it, at least maybe some people will start to see them for exactly
who they are and what they represent.
It is enough to make freedom loving people throw up... and it isn't done yet.
