Maybe if May goes, Dion can get the leader job? :D

Who will lead the CPC now that Harper has had 3 kicks at the can to win a majority and failed?

Peter? Has the credentials and profile.

Any draft picks?

Are you referring to their supporters or their politicians?

i think its time for green, ndp and liberals to join . its the only way to change things for the betterment of the environment before it is to late.

That's going to be tough to do as the Greens priority is the environment, the NDP's is poverty and the Liberals is......well I'm not sure anymore but the Liberals usually govern like Conservatives so it will be tough to gel these 3.

Besides, the Greens have a fiscaly conservative agenda.

Which poster here was placing the Liberal Party on the "right" side of the political spectrum (instead of left)?

NDP would have everything to gain from such a measure, the Liberals and Green would have nothing to gain. The NDP would finally be able to move out of fourth place (by attrition) and may even pick up a few seats, however Liberals know the NDP's economic platform is pure poison. I would see many Liberal supporters being unable to stomach the NDP's demands to follow their economic platform. The Green party knows their environmental agenda would never receive the voice they would want in such a merger.
