Robair Robair:
That was about it for the wars.

We would shoot each other with BB guns, one pump rule. But never with a pellet gun. Those things could do some damage!
And we wore motorcross gear, so there was no danger of a BB to the eyeball.

Geez we were stupid.
This is the parents fault for sure.[/quote]
Wait a minute here, Robair! You and your buddies obviously found 'a way around' YOUR PARENTS supervision and rules. Or did you have your gunfights in the presence of and with the blessings of your parents? Same as I did and most of the rest of us. As well, unfortunately for both of these youg boys, they did also. My Dad was a Provincial Hunter Safety Instructor as well as a gunsmith. Believe me. We had ALL the training and rules drilled into us. Probably much moreso than most kids. That didn't stop my brothers and I from swiping gunpowder (a capful at a time, so that Dad wouldn't notice.) Primers and the odd box of 22 ammo as well. We 'blew stuff up',made zip guns, used to squeeze ammo in the big vice in the shop. Think any of this type of idiocy would have been approved by my parents??? Of course not! We were at all times fully aware of the consequences of our actions should we be caught by our parents,( we even discussed the very real possibility of our Dad arranging a face-to face meeting with Jesus

) The thought that we could possibly get
otherwise hurt or dead never even crossed our minds. We were stupid kids. Smart (we thought) and sneaky, and stupid all at the same time. And VERY, VERY LUCKY!
