Okay... lemme get this straight... the things have been floating IN the water for 50 years with no outcry from the environmentalists. However, now that they want them to be UNDER the water, there is an issue. I'm all for recycling but where is the savings in emissions?
As Hurley pointed out, there would be emissions created by the removal and transportation process. Would those emissions be less than the emissions created by manufacturing new concrete of the same tonnage?
I say light 'em up and make 'em go 'Boom!'
