By the end of this they'll retract the OoC. The uproar is building, the GG and that other liberal scumbag beverly whatever her name is will wish they never put him up for it.

Oh on a brighter note:

Rumour is

Dr. Baby_Killer has terminal cancer and has two weeks to live. Can't happen too soon.

ridenrain ridenrain:
Dr. Morgantaller was running a business.
That's also a big difference.

So are all those wonderful charitable organizations and so are churches for that matter.

Yes he did. Do you really think somebody who went to jail for 10 months and endured prosecution after prosecution was going to turn a needy women away because they couldn't pay?

So people should only be allowed to receive the order of Canada if they didn't benefit financially from their own contributions to Canada? There go all the singers and writers. There goes Wayne Gretzky. There goes Israel Asper. There goes Garth Drabinsky. There goes Guy Laliberte. This argument holds no water.

The PM is, as usual, full of it. Many controversial people have been awarded the Order of Canada, including Harper's good buddy Brian Mulroney.

Congratulations, Dr. Morgentaler.

Agreed... that was a real low point when Mulroney was given it.. kind of took the shine off..

No the low point was PET getting it. The scum bag. XD

Why was Trudeau a scumbag?

-----------------------------------

Anyhow, obviously all kinds of very controversial figures have received the OOC.

Harper is out to lunch.

That's a fair comment. Considering that eventually all the rich and politically connected in Canada get one of these, I'm not all that worked up over this. I'm more iritated that this would be used as a wedge issue.
