take hockey for example.. a team thats winning schouldn't score on an empty net? would a 6-1 win be considered running up the score?

isn't the whole point of a game that these men are being played millions to play to score points??

What usually happens in a meaningless hockey game when one team runs up the score ?

It becomes boring and a chore to watch

but the game last night wasnt meaningless... all the more reason to play hard for the WHOLE game

The playoff positions had been decided before the game was even played. It didn't matter who won or lost nothing was going to change. It was all about individual player records and an undefeated season. And the Pats got them all, time to take a knee in the final minute.

I guess the Pats could of made the ending more exciting if they would of told the Giants to try that pass over again that the Pats intercepted with a little more than a minute showing on the clock.

Newf, i admire a woman that will ask those hard questions, but while you were watching the movie the Pats were down 10 points, starting the 4th quarter and scored 22 unanswered points to win. The fans did get their money's worth. Myself, i used the last minute to take a pee and be back in time to watch the post game celebrations.

I know scored 22 unanswered points to win. I know that Brady got his record breaking 50 touchdown season but you dont think 51 would be better

it must be just me but i think that if i'm payed millions to play a game I'd leave my entire soul on that field every game. and not pussy out so i wouldn't be accused of runing up the score.
