I knew we were going to zip right into what bastards the Saudis are and ignore Neal's idea that any allegation against anybody not on board with the Progressive agenda is being what he calls "credibly accused."

But yes, the Saudis are bastards. So are the Iranians. The Saudis have gotten away with more. But giving the Iranians the bomb and a plane load of cash to finance world terrorism is not, in my opinion, "Progressive."

Personally I'd ban Wahhabi money in particular and Saudi money in general along with all Saudi financed religion from anywhere in the West if concrete evidence shows the Saudis to be guilty of this most current crime. Hell, who am I kidding? I'd do it anyway. Neal wouldn't go for that though. So I'm not sure why he's the man with the plan.

Listen, I'm nothing if not predictable.

If Dear Leader says the Saudis are American's besties then the cultists will go along with it and not bat a single eye in protest either. Nothing they say about ANYTHING anymore can be regarded as credible, not with their openly-shifting "Eurasia is our friend, East Asia is our enemy - no, wait, Eurasia is our enemy, East Asia is our friend!" mindset they constantly have on display at any given moment.

Yes Thanos, the Wahhabis and the House of Saud are enemy bastards.

But whatcha got as to Neal's central premise that "presumption of innocence" is not "Progressive" when the allegation is made by a Progressive against anybody else.

Remember, he wasn't just talking about Saudis. He led with his assertion Kavanaugh was what he called "credibly accused." Which from a non-Prog POV, is pure bullshit.

What "Severe Punishment" is, shall remain to be seen. I'm sure it'll be nothing. King Terror-Nuts and his merry band of Wahhabist terrorist ministers will get a free pass, after all he's an Autocratic Monarch with a horrifying human rights record. All things Trump looks for in a friend.

You're right that it'll be nothing.

Trump already floated the 'rogue element' trial balloon and nobody said a peep - even the 'Fake newz' press - so you can expect some poor sap to take the fall for what appears to be state-sanctioned assassination.

Trump has made it abundantly clear that it should be the USA who sells that $110 billion worth arms to Saudi Arabia , not Russia or China.

N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog:
Hang on...

Did anybody read past the title?

I'll catch you up.

Basically Neil thinks it's still the end of the world because people still aren't what he calls "Progressive" enough.

And by that he means those damned Americans are still insisting on this "presumption of innocence" nonsense rather than switching over to the more "Progressive" maxim of 'believe all women all the time, no matter what (unless the allegations are against a "Progressive).'

To Neal an allegation of sexual abuse against a Republican, without any other evidence is what he calls "credibly accused."

As further evidence of the coming apocalypse due to the lack of "Progressivism" he informs us the Barbaric Saudis with their barbaric Wahhabism version of the ideology of the Warlord Mohammed are still barbaric.

Fair enough but then Neil whimpers that Trump is not laying out enough "Progressive" hate on the Saudis, specifically, after they've been alleged to have done some barbaric thing to some Saudi journalist who was working in America.

Apparently the fact: Trump vows 'severe punishment' if journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed by Saudis is not "Progressive" enough. So it's the end of the world.

What else is new Neal? We've been hearing this in different wrappers since we've been hearing from you.

You really have very poor reading comprehension. That’s not what the article says at all. Did you even read the article?

It says the majority of Republicans said they would support Kavanaugh EVEN IF THE SEXUAL ASSAULT WAS PROVEN TRUE. How did you miss that?

Also Trump said quite explicitly said he wouldn’t sacrifice arms deals for one non-citizen and when he later issued the back-peddling statement you quoted, in the same breath he cast doubt on whether the Saudi regime was behind it, suggesting that it was “rogue” acctors.

So the article is valid: mist Republicans specifically, and many Americans generally, are gone down the shitter.

Who does this guy think he is? He acts like he is some kind of spokesman for his generation. He states: "people my age grew up believing that the world, led by the west, was becoming more progressive." No Neil, not people your age, but people of your like minded ilk that you choose to associate with. People who make their living sucking off of the public tit. People free to churn out left wing horseshit without having to worry about circulation numbers, or tv ratings because they work for a state sponsored monopoly. Neil has spent the vast majority of his life living in a cocoon, surrounded by people who think like him. He is just now discovering that he is indeed in the minority. He just cannot deal with the fact that people can think for themselves, or vote the way they choose. How dare us American voters pick Trump? Who do we think we are questioning Neil and his ilk? Neil and his comrades know whats best for us, how dare we think for ourselves? Don't we know who Neil is? How dare we!

His whole world is crashing down around him now. Kind of like that kid that just found out that Santa is not real. It was all a big lie. None of it was real. The progressive world that Neil and his state sponsored comrades wanted to impose on us is not going according to his plan. Neil can't deal. He is coming unglued. The fact that he is calling the number one destination for immigration on the planet the Republic of Dystopia, shows him for the poor sport, sore loser, whiny little bitch that he actually is. So spare us the lectures about illusions Neil. The only ones suffering from illusions are you, and your ilk.

The grandkids have effectively ruined the better world that the grand-dads fought to achieve.
