That memo was so childish that Roy Moore tried hitting on it.

$1:
Worse Than Watergate

The FISA Abuse Memo is out and now we know why the Democrats were desperate to keep its contents hidden from the public: it confirms the worst fears not just of President Trump’s supporters but of everyone concerned about the abuse of police power, government corruption, and the sanctity of our elections.

The memo shows interference in the 2016 presidential election by hostile elements within a United States intelligence agency. It wasn’t the Russians we had to worry about—it was rogue actors at the highest levels of the FBI and Department of Justice. Left unanswered is to what extent the West Wing knew about or was complicit in this gross abuse of power...

American Coup
By Daniel Greenfield

The Democrats and the media spent a week lying to the American people about the “memo.”

The memo was full of "classified information" and releasing” it would expose “our spying methods." By “our,” they didn’t mean American spying methods. They meant Obama’s spying methods.

A former White House Ethics Lawyer claimed that the Nunes memo would undermine "national security." On MSNBC, Senator Chris Van Hollen threatened that if the memo is released, the FBI and DOJ “will refuse to share information with the House and Senate Intelligence Committees."

Senator Cory Booker howled that releasing the memo was "treasonous" and might be "revealing sources and methods" and even "endangering fellow Americans in the intelligence community."

The memo isn’t treasonous. It reveals a treasonous effort by the Democrats to use our intelligence agencies to rig an election and overturn the will of the voters.

The only two “sources” that the Nunes memo reveals are Christopher Steele, who was funded by the Clinton campaign, and a Yahoo News article, that were used to obtain a FISA warrant against a Trump associate. That Yahoo story came from Michael Isikoff, the reporter who knew about Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky but suppressed it. It was based on more leaks from Steele which the FBI and DOJ chose to ignore. Steele’s identity was already well known. The only new source revealed is Yahoo News.

No vital intelligence sources were compromised at Yahoo News. And no Yahoo News agents were killed.

The media spent a week lying to Americans about the dangers of the memo because it didn’t want them to find out what was inside. Today, the media and Dems switched from claiming that the memo was full of “classified information” that might get CIA agents killed to insisting that it was a dud and didn’t matter. Oh what tangled webs we weave when first we practice to deceive.

On Thursday, the narrative was that the memo would devastate our national security and no one should ever be allowed to read it. By Friday, the new narrative was that the memo tells us nothing important and we shouldn’t even bother reading it. The lies change, but suppressing the memo remains the goal...

More at blog

The objective of the Republican Party is to establish a one-party dictatorship where

1) any law enforcement agency fulfilling its obligation to investigate alleged party misdeeds is declared illegitimate,

2) any news media reporting on the party’s misdeeds or questioning its obvious false claims is declared illegitimate and an enemy of the state,

3) any election the party loses or appears to be losing is declared “rigged” and illegitimate

4) anyone who dares to run against the party is threatened with imprisonment.

Everything I’ve just said has actually happened in US. Up until now these things have only happened in dictatorships but expect this to be the new normal in America.

Here's the Nunes response to the 'pay no attention to what's behind the curtain, nothing to see here, obfuscating through insult and mockery Shut-uppists' of the alt-left, who still don't want people noticing what's in the memo.

$1:
House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) also released a statement:

“The Committee has discovered serious violations of the public trust, and the American people have a right to know when officials in crucial institutions are abusing their authority for political purposes. Our intelligence and law enforcement agencies exist to defend the American people, not to be exploited to target one group on behalf of another. It is my hope that the Committee’s actions will shine a light on this alarming series of events so we can make reforms that allow the American people to have full faith and confidence in their governing institutions.”

Media Democrats.

The same guys who won't supply an honest report concerning what's in the FISA memo and why it matters. When they dare to admit it exists, I mean.

Other things worse than Watergate:

- Iran/Contra
- falsified intelligence that led to the invasion of Iraq
- Russian money-laundering scam currently being operated out of the White House and Trump Tower

Lots and lots of things worse than Watergate. And what they have in common is the same sort of people in the GOP that are always behind all of them.

The first one's ancient and got its fair share of coverage when it happened. The second concerns deep state interference, just like this current FISA memo one does. Your insinuations in the third are bullshit.

If you're looking for some recent examples of what should have been scandals, but didn't get the investigative concern from the media Watergate did you might consider:

Uranium One.

Fast and Furious.

Benghazi.

Lois Lerner IRS attacks on conservatives.

Oh and here's one I always thought required more attention:

$1:
What really happened to Navy SEAL Team 6? In August 2011, the elite special forces unit suffered the worst battlefield calamity in its history. A Taliban fighter shot down a Chinook helicopter carrying 22 Navy SEAL Team 6 members in Afghanistan. All 38 persons on board — the Navy SEAL warriors, other U.S. military personnel and seven Afghan soldiers — were killed. Grieving family members have been demanding answers. They may now get some as Congress finally opens an investigation.

Navy SEAL Team 6 has attained international prominence for one reason: They were responsible for killing Osama bin Laden. They are American heroes. Yet, their own government betrayed them. Several days after the bin Laden operation, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. — in a pathetic attempt to spike the football and gloat — publicly revealed their central role in the raid. His revelations put a giant target on the backs of every Navy SEAL Team 6 member. A covert unit, whose mission is to operate in the murky shadows, was exposed as the group that eliminated al Qaeda’s chief mastermind. Mr. Biden’s reckless actions — followed by President Obama’s own words acknowledging the secret unit’s operation — jeopardized the Navy SEALs’ safety. Jihadists bent on revenge began an intense manhunt. The hunters now became the hunted.

Who betrayed Navy SEAL Team 6?

If we think Valerie Plame deserved a book and a movie deal, I mean.

I haven't paid any attention at all to any of this. First, I'm just too bored with anything that gets barfed out by FOX and Breitbart. Second, given how much you're flogging it, it's just another one of your side's poorly co-ordinated and utterly laughable pack of lies. Give it a week and this will all be forgotten and you'll have to go back to the next "huge breakthrough" on Benghazi or Clinton's e-mails or the next James O'Keefe "exclusive" whatever other bit of nonsense you think anyone else even remotely gives a damn about.

That's the problem with folks like yourself living in an echo chamber talking only to other lunatics who believe the same idiocy, or with the other party agents doing whatever it is that they're up to - you truly don't notice how very little anyone else outside your circle of conspiracist dolts truly do not care in the least about what you think, feel, or believe.

AL Capone completely vindicated! Proceedings to start on posthumous pardon. Historical documents "Prove" Elliot Ness was biased against Capone, repeatedly referring to him as a thug and a gangster and failing to investigate Joe Kennedy instead. No memo needed to be concocted....

Trump supporters and ideological right-wingers don't have principles, they only have tactics. "Truth" is whatever happens to be useful to them on any given day. To them it's a daily ritual of their insane accusations somehow equaling confessions from the other side.
