The Calgary city council is just jealous because Saskatoon thought up this "art" first before our urban hipster liberals did.

We should have been forewarned about what passes for art these days when the National Art Gallery paid $1.8 million for this Michelangelo like work of a lifetime in 89. :roll:

I remember when that came out. My ol' man whipped up two colour painting but it had a squiggle in it. It was titled, "Bird Shit on a Branch" and he submitted it to the NAG with an offer to sell it to them for the bargain price of $500K.

He got a rejection form letter back stating they weren't currently accepting any new submissions for their collection at that time :lol:

I can't wait for the day where some recycling company picks it up and actually disposes of it, as it basically looks like bundled plastic.
