novachick novachick:
ps. I'll be happy you changed your position tomorrow....maybe

...and I hope those on the other side of this debate have re-thought their position somewhat as well.

I am good with police not using foul language on the radio, or with civi's when it isn't necessary. That's as far as I can think right now 8O

I encourage police to use profanity. It allows us regular shmucks to distinguish shit rat pigs from respectable officers.

EyeBrock EyeBrock:
Come on Lemmy, you just don't like cops.

Every thread on anything law-enforcement related over the past few months, as in since you started posting, has entailed you telling us all how crap cops are.

I get it. You don't like cops.

Not true. I think I'd like cops more if they didn't have tasers and didn't swear on the job.

EyeBrock EyeBrock:
Off your meds mate or just gang banged in an alley by a Toronto Tac team exploring their gay side?

Where is this hatred from?

It's from your own skull. I have no hatred for cops. And, yes, I'm off my meds, my fake-Limey-wannabe friend. Wasn't it you that suggested that? I can't respond to your second ad hominem attack because I just don't know what the hell a "tac" team is.

Fake limey? Nice try. Put me to the test fake-chum-of-cops.

There was a smiley there, my pale-skinned, crooked-toothed, short-chinned Limey-wanna-be pal.

Lemmy Lemmy:
Gunnair Gunnair:
 So which is it, Lemmy?

It's both, isn't it? The cops shouldn't need to swear. They should do their best to remember that when they get aggitated and aggressive in high-stress situations, they'll escalate things and make the folks they're dealing with get more aggitated.

Still, if an f-bomb gets dropped in those stressful situations, I don't think we need to drag them into a disciplinary hearing for it. On the other hand, if they're walking around the police station swearing, or doing it in public or on the radio, they should be written up for it.

My position all along has never been to hang a cop that swears in certain circumstances. I would encourage cops to take a calm, professional approach to law enforcement over dashing in there like Wyatt Earpp and making tense situations moreso.

Nice troll though.

Nice backpeddling...
