Congrats to the Edmonton Oilers for advancing to their second Cup Finals in a row. As you know the series is a repeat of last years finals which went all seven games. I honestly believe that this years series will surpass last years. Not only are these the two best teams in the league (currently), but they are heads and shoulders above everyone else. Not only have they been beating the other teams, they have been beating up the other teams. These two teams have been pretty much dominating and embarrassing their opponents on the ice. Both teams have been playing some of their best hockey right now when it matters most.

Take the political tensions between the two countries (not to mention an overwhelming dislike for Desantis), and we have the makings of what could be one of, if not the most watched series of all time. I would expect the advertising rates on both sides of the border to reach record highs for a Cup Final.

I believe that most Canadians will set aside any differences that they currently have with Alberta (for now ) seeing as how Alberta is the only team left that could bring the cup back to Canada. I am curious to how many Oilers fans will blow off the boycott to see games in Florida. I would be willing to bet that more Oilers fans will be attending games in Florida than the other way around. Any ways it has all the makings to be a GREAT series.
